Head of Department's Message

Dear Students,

Welcome to the page of our Coaching Education Department.

Our Coaching Education Department, which is located within the Faculty of Sport Sciences, offers a four-year undergraduate education. Our faculty adopts a student-centered educational approach.

It is aimed to train our students as coaches in various sports branches, and for this purpose, education and training activities are carried out by academics who are experts in their field.

In our department, studies suitable for the needs and requirements of our country in the field of sport are carried out. In our Coaching Education Department, there are a total of 5 instructors who are experts in their fields; these are 1 Professor, 1 Associate Professor, 1 Assistant Professor (PhD), 1 Lecturer and 1 Research Assistant.

As the Coaching Education Department, our main aim is to offer a quality sport education and ethics. In our courses, a current education model is adopted that includes theoretical and applied studies oriented toward the specialization fields of sport sciences. Our education is carried out in historic buildings and modern sports facilities, in environments where theoretical and applied courses are offered together in harmony.

Graduates of the coaching department can enter academic life by pursuing a master's and doctorate, and they can also work as teachers in various educational institutions by taking pedagogical formation courses after graduation. On the other hand, graduate students can find employment opportunities for themselves in many public and private sectors, such as the units of the Ministry of Sport.

Throughout your education process, an active education-training process awaits you in which you can explore the various aspects of physical education and sport; in which you can take part in many local, national and international scientific and sporting events; and in which you can benefit from national and international exchange programs.
