Plant this seed wherever you go and don't think about the rest.” The educational legacy started in 2010 by the educator and entrepreneur Mehmet Bulut, but left to his daughter Nilüfer Bulut upon his sudden death with the will ‘All my work was for education, realize this.’ has now taken its current form and the Bulut Education Foundation has come to life. The Foundation, which provides scholarships to many young people and ensures the continuation of their education, has started the necessary work to establish a university.

Istanbul Galata University, established by Bulut Education Foundation, became a public legal entity with the publication of the Establishment Law dated 30.05.2019 and numbered 7176 in the Official Gazette dated 12.06.2019 and numbered 30799. Our Foundation, which decided to invest in human capital with the philosophy of 'nothing means anything if you do not have well-educated and happy human resources, even if you build the best buildings and provide the best technology', established Istanbul Galata University to raise young people who trust their state and country, are loyal to their values, are local and national, have leadership qualities, are entrepreneurial, productive, happy, and integrated with love. Istanbul Galata University, which aims to raise entrepreneurial and self-confident individuals who are educated at a contemporary level, serving humanity, started its education and training life in 2020.

Today, our University, which provides education in a total of 21 departments, including 4 faculties and 1 vocational school, has adopted the mission of raising its students as competent individuals. Our University, which develops collaborations by following global changes in order to provide a bright future for our students, continues to grow day by day with its breakthroughs in the field of international education.
